Every piece is handmade by Vicki, whose Fine Arts degree in Ceramics and years of experience ensure every mug, bowl, or dish is thoughtfully crafted for beauty and functionality.

 Our private lessons are capped at a maximum of two people to guarantee personalized attention and an intimate learning environment.

Pottery Class (2.5 hours)

Perfect for a creative outing or an introduction to the art of pottery. In just a few hours, you’ll get a feel for the clay, basic handbuilding or wheel techniques, and leave with a piece you’ve made yourself.

Intro to Wheel Throwing

Learn the foundational skills of wheel throwing over four sessions. From centering clay to shaping bowls and mugs, you’ll build confidence and gain a strong understanding of this timeless craft.

Intro to Handbuilding

Explore slab, coil, and pinch techniques to create functional and decorative pieces without the wheel. Ideal for those who love the hands-on, sculptural side of pottery.

2.5-Hours Private Lessons

Wax Resist

Longhorn Pottery will trim, bisque, glaze, and finish your pieces if you’ve signed up for only one lesson. Finished work will be ready for pickup in 2–4 weeks.

Final Firing - Cone 5 stoneware - 2167°F degrees

All 3 lessons  - 1 Person $400
1 Lesson - 1 Person $150

All Glazes are food safe
Wear old cloths that you don't mind getting dirty, I recommend bringing an apron.
